CV Summary
Franziska Schreiber is a Researcher and Lecturer at the Department of International Urbanism at the University of Stuttgart, Senior Associate at the Think Tank adelphi and freelance consultant on urban transformation processes. She currently also serves as an Advisor on Public Space for City Space Architecture.
Her scientific work focuses on urban experimentation, innovation in planning practice, city visioning, public spaces design, and co-creation processes for sustainable and people-friendly cities.
Between 2015 and 2020, Franziska was heading the Urban Transformation Unit at the Berlin-based Think Tank adelphi, where she managed national and international research and consultancy projects for clients such as Cities Alliance, UNESCO, GIZ, C40, federal ministries, cities and foundations. She also worked at the international city network ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability and at various urban research institutes in Germany and abroad, including the German Institute of Urban Affairs (Difu), the Department of Urban and Regional Sociology at the Humboldt-Universität Berlin and the Urban Design Research Institute in Mumbai, India.
She holds a Masters in Urban Studies from the University College London (UCL), UK and obtained her Bachelor degree in Social Science and Geography at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
