The course will work with basics, terms and concepts of integrated urban development. The urban planning discipline for the last decade put once again a fancy term forward: “integrated”. It follows “sustainable” and is itself followed by “smart”, “resilient” and “sufficient”. But what do all terms mean in planning theory, publications and teaching? And to what extent are they reflected in planning practice, concepts and plans, governance and politics, especially in times of Pandemic and post-Pandemic? This is what we want to find out in this seminar. Active contribution and involvement of the participants’ own experiences are required.
