Our Chair participates in 14th IFOU Conference at TU Delft

The Chair of International Urbanism participates in the 14th IFoU conference, “From dichotomies to dialogues – connecting discourses for a sustainable urbanism” to be hosted online by TU Delft on 25-27 November 2021. This year, the International Forum on Urbanism will reflect on aspects of resilient urbanism. The event is organized in five tracks:

1. “Urban-rural Integration” and “Areas In-Between”
2. The city is an object and a city is in transition
3. Political ecology and adaptive and transformative framework
4. Metropolization and the Right to the City
5. Human-centred and nature-based approaches in cities

In Track 3, Dan Teodorovici will present a paper co-authored together with Sigrid Busch and Raphael Dietz (SI) and Frieder Hartung (City of Stuttgart):

„Governance frameworks towards sustainable infrastructure transformation – overcoming deadlocks, resistance and uncertainty through multi-level dialogue“.

This paper draws on insights from two Stuttgart projects: (1) the inter- and transdisciplinary research project WECHSEL (BMBF funded, 2017-2019), in which Sigrid, Raphael, Frieder and Dan took part, and (2) the well-known Stuttgart 21 railway and urban development project, to which Raphael and Dan have contributed in different ways.

Conference date: 25 – 27 November 2021

Venue: TU Delft, online

Date & Time of the session in which Dan will engage:
Thursday, 25 November 2021 9:30 – 10:30h CET
