“Covid-19 and Active Child” and “Do It Yourself (DIY) Applications for Active Childhood in Karşıyaka”
The findings of a scientific project that investigated
whether there was a change in the physical activity
level of children and the places where they performed
the activity during the pandemic period, and
whether this change was due to the perception of
health safety based on the pandemic, will be shared.
When the project was completed, the results were
shared with the municipality. Then, an implementation
project based on child participation was started
with the municipality. Within the scope of the presentation,
the process of the Child-Friendly / Playable
Karşıyaka project and its approach to the subject will
be explained.
