Dan Teodorovici has been elected to Deutscher Werkbund Baden-Württemberg membership.
Since its foundation in Munich back in 1907, the Deutscher Werkbund dedicates its activities to enhance our environment by high-quality design. It relies on the contributions of culturally and socially committed designers, planners and private companies. The Deutscher Werkbund is a non-profit association based on a regional organizational structure, its work is interdisciplinary and invites to dialogue.
Set against the background of then emergent industrialization, the Deutscher Werkbund initially sought to internationally promote German products by high-quality design through co-operation of artists, designers, craftsmen and industrial companies. Its basic quality-enhancing aims are still topical: superb functionality, material aesthetics and durability, encompassing all planning disciplines from architecture and urban design via product design to photography or typography.
