Within the framework of the DASH research exchange project, researchers and practitioners from Portugal, Serbia and Germany came together in Serbia in August 2024 to discuss and learn from social and affordable housing practices in the different countries.
The DASH project is an EU funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie staff exchange project focusing on social and affordable housing. In total, 14 partner organisations from academia, municipal governments and housing-related organisations in Serbia, Denmark, Portugal and Germany are involved. During the exchange visit in August 2024, 21 members from 8 different partners came together. From Stuttgart University, Els Keunen did a one-month exchange in Serbia. The team worked together in various constellations on different tasks. Furthermore, a discussion with a housing cooperative in Belgrade, a visit to various refugee and IDP housing projects in Čačak and to a cultural space in Novi Sad were also part of the programme. All in all, it was a very fruitful exchange.
