In October 2020, Astrid Ley took part in the Engagement Global Conference “Auf Sand Gebaut?” / “Built on Sand?”. The now published documentation includes a summary of Astrid´s contribution (pp. 22-23). Astrid Ley contributed to an expert talk seeking to explore the imminent need of careful monitoring sand exploitation on a global scale.
