Astrid Ley will join the panel on „Architecture and Decolonization“ (Stuttgarter Schule Vol. 11)

The third summer term panel of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning will also focus on a topical subject: „Architecture and Decolonization“. Together with Inés de Castro (Director of Lindenmuseum), professor Fabienne Hölzel (Chair of Urban Design at the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts), Nadine Seidu (Chief of Department of Remembrance Culture, City of Stuttgart), and Helena Cing Deih Sian (curator of cabinet exhibition „Being in Place“ at Lindenmuseum), Astrid Ley will contribute to a panel discussion moderated by Stephan Trüby (Institute for Principles of Modern Architecture / IGMA). The panel will touch on both the general strands of the subject, and on a historical event which took place in the now Central Campus Park (Stadtgarten): the Stuttgart Colonial Exhibition of 1928.

Date & Time
The event has been postponed to the Winter Term 2022/23, and the date and time will be announced in due course.
