Astrid Ley to give keynote speech at 2nd International GSN Conference / Perth, Australia

Taking place from 24 to 25 November 2022 at the School of Design and the Built Environment of Curtin University at Perth (Australia), the Second International “Global South Nexus” welcomes international expertise on the topic of

“Localizing SDGs for Built Environment & Communities: a North-South Exchange”

The conference proposes to discuss subjects such as “Inclusive and Participatory Planning”, “Sustainability and Safety in Built Environment”, “Forging Partnerships to Pursue Net Zero” or, as side event on behalf of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development UNCTD, “Understanding Environmental Consequences of Production and Exports”.

Astrid Ley will contribute the keynote to Session 5, “Responding to Climate Change”. Her speech will highlight insights from a recently completed research project: “Taking the SDGs to the Neighbourhood scale! Reflections from the GoGlocal! Project in Windhoek and Stuttgart”.
